The Hostel
Our hostel located in the popular Berlin suburb of Kreuzberg, was built to provide modern 'Backpacker' style convenience and comfort and is easy to reach by public transport day and night.
Arrival by U –Bahn/Bus:
By train Linie U1 – Station/Bahnhof Schlesisches Tor
By bus - Take the Buslinie 265 or Buslinie 147 (Nightbus: N65) directly from Berlin Hauptbahnhof in the direction of Puschkinalle/Elsenstraße
and get off at the stop Schlesische Straße/Taborstraße,
which drops you directly at the Hostelentrance.
Our Reception is manned 24 hours a day.

Kreuzberg - In the heart of Berlin
The Hostel X Berger is located geographically in the heart of Berlin,on the bank of the Spree right next to the former Berlin Wall.
A former GDR – border tower (now a museum) stands 100 meters away from the Hostel, one of the many border posts between West and East Berlin until 1990.
There are countless bargains to be found in the local boutiques as well as larger shopping centers in the area around our hostel, plus many famous Kreuzberg sites and old side streets worth seeing surrounding Schlesisches Tor and along Schlesischestrasse. This area also has a number of uniquely Berlin-style bars, and live music venues, not to mention an astounding array of inexpensive and delicious food destinations from around the world.
On the bank of the Spree surrounding the Oberbaum Bridge you can find a number of interesting and historical restaurants, boat taverns and small restaurants with a seat terrace facing or even on the water.
On Saturday- and Sundays there is a flea market a few minutes walk away.
Walk a few minutes more and you'll find Berlin's famed Treptower park, the "Arena Berlin" with numerous music/theatre/party events and the "Badeschiff" or "bath ship" (a heated summer/winter swimming pool located in the Spree)
